Snow story: Voerså Children's House (2022)

Play Art in Voerså Børnehus has been a positive process. We had an intense program that stretched over the month of December. This was a great success as we experienced that the children quickly took ownership of the activities and could quickly join in the games because it was fresh in their minds.

The process and aftermath of playfulness.

We noticed that our shy and quiet children got more and more active. They feel that they dare to be "on" in front of their peers at Månestuen. They experience familiarity and confidence in what is going on. It is also good for those of our children who are linguistically challenged; they learn new words. We experienced a nice transition between the different songs.

After play art was completed, there was a change in our way of doing activities such as assemblies. We still have daily singing games, rhythm dances or other activities involving music, which is of great value in relation to daily work with the curriculum and KVALid.
