Models in PlayArt

The core of LegeKunst is the children's encounter with art, cultural heritage and aesthetic processes in kindergarten, nursery and kindergarten. The children will meet artists and cultural mediators from institutions that put co-creation, sensory perception and experience at the centre.

Each municipality chooses between six LegeKunst models, which you can read more about below.

MODEL 1
PLAYMATE

Kindergarten children meet school children for joint activities led by the school children together with the artist, teacher and educators.

MODEL 2
PLAY ART BUTTERFLY

Artistic inspiration for the educator's own work with the children before, during and after an art or cultural experience at a museum, theatre performance, concert, etc.

MODEL 3
LEGEKUNST MAGI

The artist inspires the daycare worker to create magical play spaces with shapes, colours and stories in the playroom and at home with the youngest.

MODEL 4
PLAY ART PARTNERSHIP

Day care and local cultural institutions learn from each other in partnership. The doors are opened to co-creation between the youngest, their educators and cultural mediators.

MODEL 5
PLAY ART INTO EVERYDAY LIFE

3 - 5 months in day care centres, where local artists are part of the daily life together with the children and their everyday adults.

MODEL 6
PLAY ART OTHER

The model, based on action learning, builds on and adapts to the specific needs and experiences of each municipality.
