HOW TO

This activity was an impulsive activity I did in the hallway. I had taken some tools from our activity room. I had made an obstacle course where the children had to crawl over, under and through, among other things, depending on the level of difficulty suitable for a nursery child. The children were then tasked with getting through the obstacle course, with me standing at the end with balls that had different facial expressions. I asked the children if they could make the facial expression they saw on the ball they picked up. This could either be a sour, happy, surprised or scared face. Some children could do it themselves, others I guided, where we then talked about which face they thought it was. Finally, they had to throw the ball into the box. This was done several times.
I did this activity with 3 children who are 2 1/2 to 5 years old.
