HOW TO

The activity is to create a story about Bobo the elephant. This story will be created by the children (about 5 children aged 3-4) coming up with ideas for a story, in the form of different words, activities, etc. The teacher will use the children's story to create a pictogram showing Bobo's activities and whereabouts in the nursery. The activity aims to enhance bilingual children's imagination, creativity and follow their language development. The activity focuses on the above, inclusion, recognition, diversity and relationship building. The children get a common third through the story. The activity gives space for all children to have their say and leave their mark on the story. The focus is on following the children's ideas, the educator is just the ''towholder'' of all the ideas and gets the ideas melted into the story.
