National PlayArt Days 2021
OPEN CONFERENCE DAY FOR ALL: THURSDAY 18. 09.30 - 16.45
Kulturprinsen invited to be part of the open conference at this year's LegeKunst Dage.
Play is about changing reality. What happens when PlayArt meets reality in Danish day care? And how is it promoting play and education among the youngest?
We explored this together, when UCN Campus Mylius Erichsensvej, Aalborg formed the framework for the conference.
At the conference we focused on PlayArt practice in day care and in teacher education, we gained knowledge through presentations by renowned international researchers: Anne Bamford (UK) and Lise Hovik (N). A well-informed panel reflected on the challenges and potentials we face when we want to promote play and education through arts and culture among the youngest.
The afternoon salons gave us an insight into what makes researchers from some of the seven PlayArt research projects tick, as well as getting out on the floor in creative and inspiring workshops to feel first-hand what PlayArt delivers.
Online participation was also possible on the PlayArt conference day.
